How to do the RainDance AI trend

To do the RainDance AI trend, upload two photos to RainDance AI, check the free preview, make the full 28-second video, then add “Raindance” by Dave and Tems as the sound when you post on TikTok or Reels. The preview is free for new accounts and takes a few minutes.

Step 1 - Pick your two photos

Person 1 waits on the dock and listens; person 2 is the singer. Choose who is who before you upload - the first photo is always the one on the dock.

  • One person per photo, from the head to the waist or knees, face clearly visible.
  • Front-facing, in daylight or good indoor light.
  • No sunglasses, masks or heavy beauty filters.
  • JPG, PNG, WEBP, up to 10MB, at least 301 pixels on each side.
  • Only photos of you or of people who agreed - no celebrities and no one under 18.

Step 2 - Make the free preview

Tick the box confirming the people in both photos are you or people who agreed to the video, then press Make my free preview. Step 4 - Add the sound and post

  1. Download the MP4 from RainDance AI.
  2. In TikTok, tap + and upload the video.

  4. Start the sound at the beginning of the trend clip - the video keeps the original timing, so the singing lines up.
  5. Add a caption and post. On Instagram Reels the steps are the same under “Audio”.

Common problems and fixes

The faces don't look right

Use a sharper, front-facing photo with even light. Side angles and group photos give the AI less to work with. Check with the preview before making the full video.

The wrong person is singing

Switch the uploads: the first photo is on the dock, the second sings.

A photo was blocked
